These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Wheeling North-East, a proprietorship firm owned and operated by Kartick Bhakta, located at Tinsukia Subachani Paresh Tower, Tinsukia, Assam, PIN - 786125. By booking a vehicle or tour package, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Offered
- Car Rental: Self-drive and chauffeur-driven vehicles for local, outstation, and multi-day trips across North-East India.
- Tour Packages: Curated multi-day tour itineraries covering destinations in Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim.
- Airport/Station Transfers: Pickup and drop services to/from airports and railway stations.
2. Booking & Payment
- Bookings can be made via WhatsApp (+91 9859091909), phone call, or online payment through Razorpay.
- An advance payment of ₹500 (car rental) or ₹1,000 (tour packages) is required to confirm a booking.
- The remaining balance is payable in full before or on the day of the trip.
- Payments via Razorpay are processed securely. All transaction data is handled per Razorpay's payment processing standards.
- Cash payments are accepted on trip day.
3. Vehicle Usage
- All vehicles are provided with a professional, experienced driver. Self-drive is not permitted.
- Passengers must treat the vehicle with care. Any damage caused by passengers (e.g., staining, scratches, breakage) will be charged to the customer.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or carrying illegal substances inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
- Maximum luggage capacity depends on the vehicle type. Overloading is not allowed.
4. Passenger Responsibility
- Passengers must carry valid government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) at all times during the trip.
- For restricted areas (e.g., Tawang, Bum La Pass), passengers are responsible for obtaining the required Inner Line Permits (ILP) or Protected Area Permits (PAP).
- Wheeling North-East is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.
5. Itinerary & Route Changes
- Itineraries may be altered due to road conditions, weather, landslides, or government restrictions. In such cases, alternative routes or destinations will be suggested.
- Additional charges may apply if the customer requests significant route deviations beyond the agreed plan.
6. Liability Limitations
- Wheeling North-East will not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or diversions caused by natural disasters, road blockages, political unrest, or any force majeure events.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the services booked. We do not provide travel insurance — customers are advised to purchase their own travel insurance.
7. Cancellation

8. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion.
- If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Tinsukia, Assam, India.
9. Modifications
Wheeling North-East reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
